Whether you are just starting out in the world of online poker, or a frequent player, most poker sites offer a loyalty bonus depending on the amount of real money wagered or the number of raked hands played. The loyalty bonus is added to a players account in the form of points or real money. It is offered in addition to the first deposit bonus given by most online poker rooms.

Sky Poker offer a loyalty bonus in the form of poker points to reward players based on their real money play. The bonus is built up by awarding points every time a player is dealt a raked hand. For example, if participating in a £1.00 / £2.00 game, 24 loyalty bonus points are earned for 20 raked hands.

Bonus points can also be obtained for buying into single and multi table tournaments. Poker points are earned for every £1 entry fee paid to buy-in to a tournament. All points obtained are credit to a player’s account at the end of each hand or tournament, and can be viewed in the ‘My Account’ section.

Once sufficient loyalty bonus poker points are built up they can be redeemed as buy-ins to selected multi table tournaments called freerolls. Sky Poker freerolls take place daily, with entry fees ranging from 50 to 250 points depending on the cash prize on offer, which is usually between £100 and £500.

Sky Poker’s point’s scheme allows players to build up a bankroll even once they have used up their welcome bonus, and therefore they don’t have the need to switch to a different poker room. Loyalty points do not have an expiry time on them, and therefore can be built up over time to play in the bigger tournaments.
